The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education in Andorra (AQUA) welcomed Mr Robert Mauri, Chief of Staff of the Representation of the French Co-Prince in Andorra, for an institutional visit. The meeting provided an opportunity to present the Agency, the Andorran higher education system and AQUA’s main areas of activity.
 
During the meeting, the AQUA team presented the structure of the Andorran higher education system and the Agency’s role in evaluating higher education institutions and programmes. The discussion also addressed AQUA’s institutional development and its participation in European and international quality assurance networks. 

Particular attention was given to cooperation with French quality assurance institutions, including AQUA’s participation in FrAQ-Sup, technical exchanges with Hcéres and CEFDG, and its contribution to an ENQA working group on quality assurance in research coordinated by CTI.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss future areas of interest, including the impact of evaluations, private and digital higher education, research quality, joint training activities and the involvement of experts based in France in AQUA’s work. 
The visit contributed to strengthening institutional dialogue and promoting a better understanding of the Andorran higher education system.
