Director

Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He has worked as a lecturer and researcher at the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil), Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (China), and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (Morocco), where he also held responsibilities in internal quality assurance. 

Between 2022 and 2023, he worked as a senior technician at AQUA.

He was appointed director of AQUA by the Parliament of Andorra in January 2023, a position he has held since then.

Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Master’s degree in Evaluation and Quality Management in Higher Education from the UOC, awarded with highest honours for her final master’s thesis; Master’s degree in Management of International Organizations from SDA Bocconi University; and Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management.

She is currently a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Barcelona, focusing on higher education policies in microstates. She has developed her professional career in diverse international environments, ranging from the hospitality sector to communication consultancy at UNESCO’s Higher Education Department.

Since January 2026, she has been serving as Senior Quality Assurance Specialist at AQUA, where she is responsible for the agency’s international affairs and communication. She joined AQUA in 2022 as a Quality Assurance Specialist.

Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Master’s degree in Philosophy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics, with a specialisation in applied ethics; Master’s degree in Evaluation and Quality Management in Higher Education from the UOC; and Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona.

She is currently a PhD candidate in Citizenship and Human Rights at the University of Barcelona, where she researches the relationship between ethics and university quality. She has developed her professional career primarily in the higher education sector, in the fields of research and university quality assurance.

Since January 2026, she has been serving as Senior Quality Assurance Specialist at AQUA, where she is responsible for the agency’s internal quality management and for the design of external evaluation methodologies and processes. She joined AQUA in 2021 as a Quality Assurance Specialist.

Quality Assurance Specialist

Bachelor’s degree in Humanities from the University of Andorra and the Open University of Catalonia. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Evaluation and Quality Management in Higher Education at the UOC.

She has developed her professional career in the field of administrative management and event organisation and, more recently, as Head of Procedures and Project Management.

Since January 2026, she has been serving as Quality Assurance Specialist, where she is responsible for the coordination of external evaluations. She joined AQUA in 2024 as a Junior Quality Assurance Specialist. 

Junior Quality Assurance Specialist

Holds a master’s in international and Comparative Law from the University of Toulouse I Capitole, K.U. Leuven, and the Università Statale di Milano, and a master’s in Geopolitics and International Relations from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Toulouse.

Pierre has worked as a desk officer and legal advisor in different fields, such as foreign affairs and higher education. Later, he was hired by a public entity to implement an important project in the country.

In recent years, he has focused on commercial communication and public relations.

He has been a Junior Quality Assurance Specialist since December 2024.
