On Friday, December 15th, AQUA attended the general assembly of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA), marking its first participation as a member and reinforcing its commitment to promoting a more equitable and transparent evaluation of research. 

The Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) is a global platform that brings together academics, research professionals, scientific journal editors, and other stakeholders in the scientific community. Its primary objective is to promote fairer, more transparent, and effective research assessment practices. CoARA works to enhance scientific evaluation processes, advocate for diversity and inclusion in research, and drive innovation and progress in the scientific field. 

The assembly convened representatives from member organizations worldwide to deliberate on key issues, share viewpoints, and make decisions to shape the future of the coalition.
